O romance entre um saxofonista mal-humorado e uma cantora de talento foi mais do que espinafrado na época de seu lançamento. Talvez os anos 70 não estivessem muito interessados em um musical ambientado entre o final da II Grande Guerra e anos 50. Pena. Por seu valor histórico-musical, boas interpretações e direção o filme merece, ao menos ser visto.

É difícil de achar, mas se você gosta do trabalho de De Niro, Minnelli ou Scorsese, Jazz, Big Bands ou musicais, você não pode perder.

Caso contrário, fuja.
